About me
My name is Idoia Romero Goñi. I was born and raised in a small town near Pamplona: Artica, located in Navarre. It is a place where I have been able to develop and grow as a student and a professional. As for my interests and preferences, from an early age I was drawn to the world of linguistics, especially aspects related to grammar, spelling, and syntax. This curiosity led me to pursue studies in the humanities and literature during my school years.
After finishing high school, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Navarra. Thanks to these studies, I was able to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the aspects of literature and linguistics that interest me so much. Additionally, they introduced me to the world of teaching Spanish as a second language, a field that captured my attention from the very first observation I was fortunate enough to make.
Later, I completed a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at the same university. This training allowed me to apply my knowledge in a practical way from day one with students at both beginner and advanced levels. All of this was approached from a sociocultural and communicative perspective, with a focus on the new technological options available for language teaching.
